Minecraft servers by version
A server doesn't accept every version of the game. Pick yours to see only the servers you can actually join, without an error message when you connect.
Which version should you pick?
- You want all the recent content: take the latest version. Most servers accept it, often along with older ones thanks to ViaVersion.
- You play competitive PvP: many PvP servers stay on 1.8, for its combat without an attack cooldown.
- You play on mobile, console or Windows 10: look for Bedrock-compatible servers, open to your edition thanks to Geyser.
