YAML validator for plugins
“Could not load config.yml”: one extra space, a tab, and the plugin falls back to its default configuration. Paste the file: every error is explained with its line and its fix, including traps that are valid but misleading, like &cAdmin read as an anchor.
Tab inserts two spaces. To leave the field with the keyboard: Esc, then Tab. Nothing is sent: the analysis runs in your browser.
4 errors: the plugin won't load this file.
3 things to check: valid, but probably not what you meant.
The three rules that prevent 90% of errors
- Indent with spaces, never tabs, and always the same number per level.
- Put in quotes any value that starts with
&,%,@,*or#, or that contains “: ”. - Inside double quotes,
\is a special character: prefer single quotes for paths and regular expressions.
